THE CHALLENGE: Cole was enrolled in an online college English course and needed to complete an essay, but he felt overwhelmed and did not know how to begin. He had ideas, but needed help organizing them into a clear and cohesive paper. Using my paragraph organizers and essay-planning templates, we identified his main ideas, supporting details, transitions, and overall structure. The organizers gave him a step-by-step framework for turning his thoughts into complete paragraphs and connecting those paragraphs into a unified essay.
